Be a
responsible visitor and operator
As visitor our tour operator to Taman Negara and other national parks of Malaysia, we have
the privilege to enjoy the natural beauty of the nature and its flora and
fauna inhabitants. With this privilege comes responsibility - to guard, care
for and protect this fragile environment.
take nothing but memories,
leave nothing but footprints... Our attitudes
toward nature and their inhabitants determine how we treat them. When we
make an effort to understand and appreciate them, we will learn to care for
them. When we realize that flora and fauna take hundreds or even thousands
of years to form, we will be careful not to damage or break them. When we
learn that natures are sensitive to environment quality, we will be careful
not to litter or allow logging everywhere.
Taman Negara ecosystems are constantly under attack from natural and human
threats. It is harder to address natural threats but we can control our
actions and choices so that we do not adversely affect the health of the
rainforest environment.
Since its fully gazette as national park in 1980, the Department of Wildlife
and National Parks (Jabatan Perhilitan) in Malaysia has been overseeing the
conservation of the ecosystems environment in Taman Negara. With the
management of Jabatan Perhilitan, we hope Taman Negara's future is secure
forever.
Please help us to educate, protect and
preserve our last mother nature's treasure.
